At present, I am the Learner Success and Data Analytics Manager at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My job is to use learner interaction, assessment, and feedback data to improve the online course experience for our international learner population. As part of my role, I also devise the strategy and system for data collection, aggregation, and dissemination to both the internal team and external partners. I am extremely motivated by helping people solve problems or answer their questions with data.
Prior to coming to MIT, I served as the Scientific Director of the Cayo Santiago Biological Field Station, a research unit of the Universidad de Puerto Rico Recinto de Ciencias Médicas. I previously earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from Yale University and my B.S. in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology from the University of Rochester.
