UChicago Summer Session: Making Art in the Age of the Internet

During this 3-week long session, I investigated the usage of conventional technology as a new medium for art to create my own artworks. Through dissecting various articles on modern-day mediums, I created two separate projects utilizing technology and organized them onto a website.

Developing and Documenting Technology Portfolio

Over the course of a semester, I developed my Blender skills through researching techniques and practicing modeling various items and locations. Documentation of my modeling complexity progress was accomplished through self-edited and captioned videos via Adobe Premiere Pro.

Scratch Final Project

For my Computer Programming I final project, I chose to make a Scratch project that demonstrated both artistic and block coding capability. The game has two modes, a Story and Game mode, with all art created on my own, including character sprites and backgrounds.

Digital Art Examples

A few of my digital artworks, all done in CLIP STUDIO PAINT, for class or side projects.
