Charles is a PhD student in CSAIL working with Prof. Michael Carbin. His research focuses on programming languages for the computer systems of tomorrow. Charles grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Carnegie Mellon University for undergrad. Before joining MIT, he worked as a software engineer in New York City.
