AERO (Auroral Emissions Radio Observer) and VISTA (Vector Interferometry Space Technology with AERO) have now both been awarded and are starting.
These are NASA HTIDES awards to fly two cubesats with a novel Vector Sensor technology to study wave emissions in the Earth’s Auroral zone. Either satellite can perform the AERO mission, but coordinated observations will be planned to demonstrate interferometry with the pair.
