MIT’s Clothing Thrift Shop

Our team collects, organizes, and resells clothing donations for the MIT community.

Our mission is to support MIT’s goal of reducing material waste by 30% by 2030 and to provide affordable clothing.

Infinite Threads is a project of the Undergraduate Association and is possible thanks to the generous support of the MIT Women’s League, MIT Office of Sustainability, and MIT Fabric Innovation Hub.

You have three options:

  1. Bring your donations to an upcoming pop-up.
  2. Wait until the end of the spring semester, when we collect donations in every undergrad dorm.
  3. Bring your donations to the MIT Furniture Exchange (WW15) during their limited business hours.

Staff ($16/hr) and Admin ($18/hr) work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, sorting clothing at the FX and running thrift shop pop-ups. If you’re interested, contact infinitethreads@mit.edu.
