Splash course: How to build microhouses and how to characterize them?
Course description: An introductory course in 3D printing microarchitectures and the corresponding laser techniques used to study them. The state-of-art techniques are explained in simple sketches and cartoons.
Spark course: Optics for Aerospace
Course description: In this course, we will give an overview of the application of modern optics in the aerospace. A simple ray-tracing simulation for James Webb telescope will be presented and discussed. In addition, we will show our own works in using laser to enhance materials, such as laser shock peening for airfoils.
