
Lawrence Susskind, Principal Investigator, MIT Ford Professor of Urban and Environmental Planning
Lawrence Susskind has served in a variety of roles in MIT’s DUSP over the past 35 years, including as Head of the Department. He is currently Director of the Environmental Policy and Planning Group. He is the founder of the Consensus Building Institute, and one of the founders of the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, where he co-directs the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Program.

Patrick Field, Principal Investigator, Managing Director of CBI
Patrick Field is Managing Director of CBI and Associate Director of the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Program. He leads CBI’s Energy, Environment and Land Use practice and has helped thousands of stakeholders reach agreement on natural resource, land use, water, and air issues across North America.

Danya Rumore, Project Manager and Collaboration Lead, PhD student in Environmental Policy and Planning at MIT and Associate at CBI
Danya Rumore is a doctoral candidate in Environmental Policy and Planning at MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning. Her research focuses on collaborative, adaptive environmental governance and consensus-based decision making in the context of science intensive environmental disputes.

Carri Hulet, Project Advisor, Senior Associate at CBI
Carri is a Senior Associate at CBI, where she designs and facilitates meetings on a range of environmental and public policy issues, and on organizational and strategic planning. She specializes in helping groups work constructively together on natural resource and public policy issues. She received her Master of City Planning degree from MIT and worked as a research assistant on the NECAP project during the second year of her graduate studies. Carri is providing stakeholder engagement and consensus building advising for the project.
