Interests
In addition to physics education, I am interested in Particle Astrophysics and Astronomy research (will be pursuing a PhD in these areas starting Fall 2025!). I also like to sing and I am part of an A Cappella Group called Toons (I have some understanding of Music Theory and have arranged music before).

Bio
Hi all, I’m Orisvaldo (I often go by Oris) and I am an MIT Class of 2023, B.S. in Physics with minors in Astronomy and Mathematics. Since Summer 2023 I have been part of the MIT Physics Education Group, where my main function is to be an Assistant Educator/Technical Instructor for the Experimental Lab class for Physics upperclassmen.
This incoming Fall 2025, I will be starting my PhD studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, probably working in Particle Astrophysics/MMA research.
During undergraduate, I was involved in extracurricular activities, most notably academic research projects, as well as being part of the Physics Mentoring Program at MIT. I was also part of the e-board for the MIT SPS Chapter, where I served as Social Chair.
