Hello all,
This is simply a small opinion piece about an issue that, if you know me, I care a lot quite a while, since I have been someone who had over 5hrs/day of screen time as average (and I do still have those values, at times) and got into a small existential crisis on spending time intentionally.
Read what I have done to combate that in this document. Youre free to comment it if you have suggestions or criticism, all is welcome! I wrote a brief session on motivation, since this documents focus is the how I implemented my safeguards, not the why I did it. If reading this is making you feel deja-vu, it is because I have sent this before in an email, sorry for the repeat. The new thing I will add is that I recently watched a nice video opinion piece about this subject. I left a Reading List in the document which are books that actually did make a big impact on how I think about these things. Lmk if you ever read one of them and lmk what you think!
Sincerely,
Oris (Orisvaldo Salviano Neto)

Im a lot more forgiving of humanity than most people. We are the weirdest thing in the known universe, and my least optimistic and most forgiving take about that is that its very hard to be this weird.
