This is a reading group at MIT CSAIL organized by students in Prof. Julian Shun‘s group. We meet to discuss topics broadly in parallel and distributed computing. While a large part of the group’s research focus has been in-memory parallel algorithms and concurrent data-structures design, the reading group also welcomes topics closer to other subareas of computer science.

Logistics
For the Fall 2025 semester, we met every other Friday 1-2pm US Eastern Time starting from September 12th, 2025 until December 12th, 2025. We will not have regular meetings during IAP 2026. Meetings will resume for Spring 2026 (the first week of the semester starts on February 2nd, 2026). Schedule for Spring 2026 will be announced in mid January.
