The PhysGAAP Mentorship Program for the 2024-2025 application cycle is underway, and applications to the program are now closed.
If you did not apply or were not selected for the mentorship program, we encourage you to make use of our other resources, like our Webinar and Office Hours programs.
The MIT PhysGAAP Mentorship Program matches applicants with a MIT Physics graduate student mentor for 1-on-1 mentorship. Mentors and mentees meet a few times during the application cycle for more focused guidance on putting together an application for graduate schools in physics.
If you are applying for graduate school but are missing mentor figures to help you navigate the process, are applying under unusual circumstances and feel unsure how to incorporate this into your file, or otherwise need more detailed guidance that likely cannot be answered by our other resources, our mentoring program may be a good fit for you.
Capacity for this program is limited, so preferential consideration will be given to applicants who would most benefit from this program and can demonstrate they are a good fit. We also encourage applicants to come prepared with draft materials in order to get the most out of time with mentors.
