Independent Research Study | January 2023 – December 2023 | Presented at ISEF May 2024
I spent a lot of my time in high school studying allergies and epinephrine auto-injectors. My junior year, I became interested in the design of the Teva EAI (a generic of the EpiPen) and how its design differs while remaining a generic of the EpiPen. To my surprise, I could not find any studies on the usage of the Teva, so I decided to run my own study to see what is the accuracy rate of usage of the Teva and how people use it in comparsion to the EpiPen. My senior year, I presented this project at various science fair competitions and became an International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) Finalist.
