MIT Wind is an official MIT Edgerton Center build team founded in 2022 with the support of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Prior to this, wind energy related opportunities at MIT were quite scarce, and MIT Wind was formed with the goal of increasing campus interest in wind energy technologies. Since its founding, MIT Wind has recruited members across multiple departments and competed in its first Collegiate Wind Competition in 2023.

The team welcomes any MIT student with the curiosity to develop new renewable technologies and a passion for solving modern environmental challenges!
