Arnab Sarker

PhD Candidate in Social and Engineering Systems and Statistics

About Me

I am a PhD candidate in Social and Engineering Systems and Statistics at MIT advised by Prof. Ali Jadbabaie, and I am on the 2024-2025 job market. Prior to MIT, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E. in Networked and Social Systems Engineering and an M.S.E. in Data Science.

My research focuses on social and organizational systems. I use tools from statistics, machine learning, and algebraic topology to understand how micro-level interactions between people can shape macro-level outcomes.
