As the fields of fission and fusion energy continue to expand, FFUSars is cultivating a workforce equipped not only with the technical expertise, but with the professional, interpersonal, and self-management skills needed to succeed throughout their professional lives. FFUSars formalizes the “hidden curriculum” of research – communication, collaboration, and well-being – through a two-semester undergraduate seminar sequence and complementary mentor training.
