Kaleb Blake was born in Los Angeles, California. He has received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the May of 2022. During his time as an undergraduate Kaleb was a part of the MIT Men’s Varsity Soccer team and frequently participated in research opportunities through the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program at MIT. He was also part of the Phi Beta Epsilon fraternity and was the co-president of the Mechanical Engineering Student Society. In addition, he was a coach for Little Beavers, a group that helps kids with autism get exercise through running. In his final semester he also joined Immobilaire, MIT’s breakdancing club, and the MIT Dance Troupe.
Currently, Kaleb is in the Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering program at MIT. His projected graduation date is May 2024.
Kaleb is interested in controls, underactuated robotics, autonomy, mechanical design, and machine learning. Kaleb finds passion in projects that utilize both his Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering/Computer Science knowledge.
