This was a class project where I made flashlight from scratch with parts I manufactured. The project was completed at MIT from 1/31/2020 – 2/1/2020.
I manufactured a battery case/handle and head for a flashlight based on designs given to me. To make these parts I completed manual machining techniques such as milling, lathing, tapping, knurling, external threading, and horizontal band sawing. I then assembled the flashlight, which used two triple A batteries.
