Afreen Siddiqi

My research and teaching are devoted to advancing human well-being using engineering, analytics, and policy. I build mathematical models, devise new methods for analysis, and conduct simulations to guide technology development and decisions. I seek insights for complex systems, consisting of interacting human and technical elements operating in dynamic natural environments on Earth and in space, for improving people’s lives in the present and for the future. I am an engineer by training, a researcher and teacher by profession, an enthusiast of Earth and Space science, and an advocate for peace on our beautiful planet.
