We’re holding this event as a continuation of and “refresh” to the previous TMP Consortium graduate student conferences that started in 2002 among peer educational programs in Technology, Management, and Policy. Suspended during the COVID pandemic, we would like to to renew the tradition of gathering this important research community, hosted this year by MIT’s Institute for Data, Systems, and Society and the Technology and Policy Program.

Similar to past TMP Consortia, the primary goal for this conference will be to offer graduate students engaged in technology and policy research the opportunity to present and get feedback on their work. We also will strive to build community among students and faculty engaged in research in the intersection of technology, data, and policy.

We welcome presentations by students in which technical analysis and data is mobilized to inform policy, and we expect to highlight work on a broad variety of problems and with varying methods and approaches.
