shedding light on the unseen

I am a Research Scientist working at Prof. Ed Boyden’s lab and MIT Laser Biomedical Research Center. As an optical microscopist, my long-term research vision is to pioneer next-generation imaging technologies that bridge fundamental discovery and translational medicine. By integrating photonic engineering, computational imaging, and machine learning, I aim to illuminate the complex architecture of life with unprecedented precision.

My work lies at the intersection of engineering, physics, and the life sciences, driven by a deep curiosity about how light can reveal, quantify, and ultimately transform biological understanding. I am passionate about advancing precision diagnostics and enabling scalable personalized medicine through optical innovation.
