Ways to contact your elected representatives

US Federal Government

Congressional offices are available to help Massachusetts residents with any problems that relate to a federal government service. For example, we have worked with Senator Markey’s office on individual international student visa cases. You can fill out the following forms from these offices and a case worker will get back to you:

MA State Government

State House and Senate

The state house and senate mirrors the federal house and senate in structure and are both legislative bodies within their respective scopes.

Governor’s office

While the governor’s office (Gov. Healey and Lt. Gov. Driscoll) does not have jurisdiction over local (city/town/county) issues, it can veto and sign legislation into law, and issue executive orders.

  • Various ceremonial requests or invitations can be submitted here.
  • Other state level requests/issues can be submitted here.

City governments

City councils function as local-level legislative bodies with powers over, for example, policymaking and budgeting.

All Massachusetts city and town websites can be found here. Contacts for a shortlist of cities are found below.
