Welcome to RACECAR Neo!

Innovative hands-on programming and robotics education, created by passionate students, teachers, and engineers at MIT. Get started today!

Welcome to the RACECAR Neo Website! This page is a wiki & central location for teachers, learners, hobbyists, and students interested in working with the MIT BWSI Autonomous RACECAR course. RACECAR Neo is the next-generation autonomous vehicle platform for educating introductory robotics and programming concepts for middle school, high school, and early college students. RACECAR is free to start, with a virtual twin simulator built in Unity generating synthetic sensor data from a virtual environment. Once you are comfortable programming in the sim, make the switch to a physical robot composed of modular parts, and see your code come to life!
